ROUTE CHANGES - YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
We have been working in close consultation with GeoSphere Austria, the national meteorological service , alongside the mountain rescue teams as we monitor the weather for the next few days.
Current weather forecasts predict challenging mountain conditions, including high temperatures and thunderstorms/lightening storms in exposed areas. Based on this information and the recommendations of the relevant authorities, we are making adjustments across all courses. These changes are designed to bring projected finish times forward and reducing athlete exposure during the period when conditions are expected to be most severe. Our priority, as always, is to keep athletes, staff and volunteers safe while still delivering a high-quality race experience for everyone involved.
These decisions have not been made lightly. We understand the dedication and preparation you have invested, and we are committed to minimizing the impact while prioritizing your safety above all else.
Please read the updated race information carefully and stay connected to our official channels for any further updates.
